eudev - A rule-based device node and kernel event manager

Website: http://dev.gentoo.org/~blueness/eudev/
License: GPLv2+
Vendor: Alcance Libre, Inc.
eudev is a fork of systemd's udev with the goal of obtaining better
compatibility with existing software such as OpenRC, Upstart, older kernels,
various toolchains, and anything else required[1] by (but not well supported
by) udev. For configurations not utilizing systemd, eudev is Gentoo's default
device file manager
